The wait is finally over; the RBC range is now complete!
The unique modular concept offered with the Roving Battery Changer range from CAPS, now means that every size of battery, every roll off height and every weight of battery can now be catered for.
“We have designed the RBC range to be modular, but with 4 specific areas in mind” says designer Dan Gould.
The RBC is offered in a compact version, a Standard version, semi wide version and a wide version. “This range covers the majority of battery tray size combinations found in lateral battery changing applications."
Pete Smith, Managing Direct adds “We addressed the large differences of roll off heights by offering a unique selling point of an internal lift” This internal lift , means that the RBC can now extract low extraction heights found in order pickers upt0 high extraction heights found in VNA trucks and the likes with one machine and without loose beds.
“The fact that CAPS could offer one unit, when other Battery Handling companies had to offer two, saved us considerable money” says Chris Findlay (Key Account Manager - STILL).
The RBC offers many unique options, and is custom built to the actual requirements of the customers battery room. Options such as Nylon skids or low profile rollers, hand crank or powered retraction, Powered Magnets or Hand applied magnets means that RBC can be built to an exact specification for its application and therefore at the most economical cost.
Safety was paramount when designing the RBC. The RBC has safety interlocks and is operated with two hand controls eliminating trap point issues. RBC is built to EU regulations and CE certified.
